Indian e-commerce firm publicizes 11-day break for workers to recharge

An Indian e-commerce firm has introduced an 11-day break to workers for recharging for the second 12 months in a row.

Meesho, which is a web based buying web site, will take a “Reset and Recharge break” from October 22 to November 1.

Saying the choice on Twitter, the corporate’s founder Sanjeev Barnwal mentioned “We have introduced an 11-day company-wide break for a second consecutive 12 months! Protecting the upcoming festive season & the importance of work-life stability in thoughts, Meeshoites will take some much-needed time without work to Reset & Recharge from October 22 to November 1.”



In response, Meesho’s most important account mentioned “An annual break bang in the course of the festive season. That is how we roll.”


The corporate had beforehand introduced a “boundaryless” office mannequin and a 30-week gender-neutral parental go away.
