NOAA, NFWF grant $25.2 million for emergency coastal

Washington, D.C., June 06, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Nationwide Fish and Wildlife Basis (NFWF), in partnership with NOAA, immediately introduced $25.2 million in grants to assist coastal communities affected by hurricanes and wildfires in 2020 or 2021 enhance their resilience to future pure disasters. The brand new grants will leverage $4.9 million in further funding to generate a complete conservation impression of $30.1 million.

Congress granted the funding by means of the FY 2022 Disaster Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act. NFWF is leveraging these funds with further help from the Bezos Earth Fund
